Hello beautiful humans,

My name is Heldy (HEL-dee) and I’m happy to have you here.  I’m a Miami native but am always seeking any opportunity to experience actual seasons. I’m a mom of two and married to my high school sweetheart. My passion and purpose have always been centered on helping others which is why I’ve spent a great majority of my professional career as an educator.

I’ve always leaned into creative things throughout my life.  Funny enough before I got into education I majored in architecture and graphic design. Like most things in life, photography was an opportunity that sort of just fell in my lap back in 2008. This provided a pathway for me to learn, create, and eventually share another part of myself with others.

To me, photography goes beyond taking photos, it’s an extraordinary snapshot of the human experience that allows us to remember the little and grand moments eternally. It’s remarkable that we can look back on a photo and get transported back to a place, or person, and feel like it was just yesterday. That’s why I relish capturing the raw organic moments that don’t need a filter. The moments where a couple is slow dancing on the beach an early Sunday morning, to parents taking photos for the first time with their new baby on a park bench. Those are the timeless moments you can look back on and relive over and over like it was the first time.

 

I value and cherish the photographs I have of my family and loved ones, so I understand how important finding the right person to capture those moments is. From the second you reach out to me until I deliver your gallery; just know you are my priority.
